Dear reader

Today is Krishna Janmashtami, a significant date in the Vedic calendar.
Go here for remarkable quote on Krishna from Maharishi at the Kumbha Mela 1966.

Last night we heard the village celebrations down below at Gajoli village going late into the night. The last time I passed through the village on Krishna Janmashtami the village women linked arms and danced and sang around their main Shiva temple while the men played drums and cheered. Here is a video of the dance by these women the same as on that day.

We are still in monsoon mode but there are indications it now may begin to ease, which is a relief! The stream being the ashram roars day and night.

Jai Guru Dev
