July 2020

Dear reader

Greetings from Uttarkashi.
In this extraordinary year, it is helpful for us as meditators to put our attention on the core of Vedic knowledge on the most auspicious day of the year, Guru Purnima, as Maharishi describes:
"Guru Purnima is the day of infinite correlation. It is a day of supreme knowledge; it is a day of Brahman; it is the day of Guru - Guru Purnima, the fullness of Guru Dev, the fullness of the element of Guru, the fullness of pure knowledge. Guru is the expression of Enlightenment, pure knowleledge, the field of all possibiliities, the field of infinite correlation."
At a time of huge change for everyone, the question on everyone's mind is "what is this all about? and when is going to end? Jyotish informed us this would be a turbulent year, but that also when it would ease ie, from now until September. As you may have noticed from these newsletters in the last few years there has been a consistent improvement in quality of life in the last 40-50 years. 2020 stands out as being the most dramatic year with natural disasters, global pandemic, and global demonstrations.
The infinite correlation Maharishi mentions above has not gone away -- it has created a platform for this year to create significant change required to further enhance this growth of quality of life.
I would hope that the further changes predicted for the year are not as challenging, but I expect the pace of change will continue nonetheless in many shapes and forms.

Wishing you every possible support for health and joy at this time.
Jai Guru Dev
Andrew

"I remember in one of the first private conversations I enjoyed with beloved Maharishi, he mentioned how much he had …

Excellent video interviewing Dr Zach Bush on the virus, glyphosate, air pollution and piggeries

Truly fortunate is one who supports the ascetic, because he doesn’t have to leave the comfort of his home to fully gain the advantage of this man’s tapas (meditations).” - Shankara Dig Vijaya.
