Greetings from Uttarkashi.
Navratri, the most auspicious nine days of the year, is here. Navratri is perhaps the most significant Vedic festival celebrated with much fervour in India.
The Nine Lunar Days of Mother Divine are an important time in the Vedic Calendar when the special quality of Natural Law which is the nature of Mother Divine awakens human awareness to the eternal continuum of infinite dynamism.
The nine days include puja and Yagya, special food and new clothes, and is an excellent time for charity and sankalpa to set the tone for the future.
Navratri begins on Saturday - Pratipada - with the first ritual of Ghatasthapana. The Kalash, which is installed on the first day of Navratri, is immersed in the river or any water body on the tenth day after puja.
Nine avatars of Goddess Durga or Shakti, also called Navdurga, are worshiped/invoked on each day of Navratri.
Pratipada: October 17 - Shailaputri Puja Dwitiya: October 18 - Brahmacharini Puja Tritiya: October 19 - Chandraghanta Puja Chaturthi: October 20 - Kushmanda Puja Panchami: October 21 - Skandamata Puja Shasthi: October 22 - Katyayani Puja Saptami: October 23 - Kalaratri Puja Ashtami: October 24: Mahagauri Puja Navami: October 25: Siddhidatri Puja Vijaya Dashami (Victory Day): October 26
Wishing you all joy, wisdom and good fortune at this time of Navratri.

Happy Navaratri 2020 Jai Shrî Devî - Nine Days of Mother Divine
"There are only a few levels of expressions of that omnipresent Mother Divine where She can be, or if talking about her unmanifest values, [where] It can be fully invoked, fully comprehended, fully enlivened, fully lived. And that is the level of human consciousness.
The human nervous system is that beautiful, profound, marvelous expression of Mother Divine where She can be invoked in her entirety -- the human nervous system, either the human nervous system or the nervous system of the finest relative value of the expression of Mother Divine. The nervous system is her own expression.
The beauty of her completeness, the beauty of her wholeness, fullness is that She has her home everywhere. This is the wholeness of Mother Divine, Creative Intelligence. She has expressed herself in various states of finite values and [yet also] remains infinite in her unexpressed, unmanifest value, the Absolute, eternal, CHITTI, PARÂ CHETANÂ, transcendental reality. This constitutes the entirety and the wholeness of Mother Divine."
